									 MINDsprinting
										Privacy Policy

									[Last
										updated December 2009]
MINDsprinting takes your privacy very seriously. Please read the statement below
to understand how we protect your personal information.

Information We Collect & How We Use It
General. Personal information is information that identifies you
personally, such as name, address, email address, or telephone number. We limit
the personal information we collect to the enroller's name and email address,
and the student's name. This information is stored in our databases located in
the U.S.A. We collect personal information in order to create an account for
you to use our programs and to communicate with you when it is necessary to do
so (see Customer Service below). You can edit your account information or
cancel your account at any time after logging in.

We also collect: (i) non-personal demographic information on the enroller (e.g.
country, zip code, age range, gender, and profession) to customize the
advertising that you view; (ii) non-personal demographic information on the
student (e.g. age, grade, gender) to determine the starting point in our
Assessment Test and for internal analysis purposes on usage and effectiveness
of our programs; and (iii) information about visits to our site, such as the
pages viewed, links clicked, and the general information a browser provides
every website visited (e.g. IP address, access times, referring websites,
browser language and type) to provide anonymous reporting for us and third
parties (e.g. advertisers). Advertising enables us to provide our educational
										programs to you for free.

We only accept online payments for our programs. In order to process checks and credit card payments and refunds online, our external payment processor requires certain “Sensitive Information”. Our external payment processor stores your personal information and Sensitive Information on its secure servers [it is done on a secure server using SSL (secure sockets layer) (see Security below]; we do not store any Sensitive Information. “Sensitive Information” includes credit card account numbers and details (including the billing address of the credit card used so that it can check the address against the cardholder's details for security purposes), personal checking account numbers, and other specific transaction information. The only Sensitive Information we collect is that which is required to process your payments (credit card and checks) and refunds online, through our external payment processor. We only collect this information for our external payment processor; we do not store it in our databases. We do not have any access to, process, or store, the following information ("Payment Details"): Credit Card Type; Credit Card Number; Card Security Number; Expiration Date; Check Number; Bank Routing Code; or Bank Account Number. We merely collect Payment Details and transmit them to our external payment processor. However, in the event of a suspected fraudulent transaction, our external payment processor may disclose Payment Details to Us for the sole purpose of performing further investigations. Our external payment processor securely stores your Payment Details in order to process future payments or refunds, but it does not use your information for any other purpose.

If you elect to receive our Newsletter you must provide us your email address,
which we store in our database located in the U.S.A. You may elect to opt out
of receiving it at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link included in
										the Newsletter.

If during the registration process you grant us permission to send you
communications via email to advise you of special offers and other information
about our programs and services, we may occasionally send you such information.
You may opt-out of receiving them at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe"
										link included in the email.

From time to time other services or benefits may be offered to you on the site
and your personal information (e.g. name, email address) may be required in
order for you to receive them or more information about them. If you elect to
supply the information required (either by providing it yourself or by
authorizing us to provide it), we will not be responsible for any consequences
arising out of the collection, transmission, or sharing of such information
with the third party collecting the information and/or providing the benefit or
service. You may of course elect not to provide the information and not receive
										the services or benefits.

Children's Privacy Issues: Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998
(COPPA). According to the Federal Trade Commission, COPPA and its
related rules apply to personal information collected from children; it does
not apply to personal information collected from their parents or other adults.
A "child" is defined as someone under the age of 13. MINDsprinting does NOT
collect information from children. In order to enroll a person must be 13 or
older. Our systems are designed to reject enrollments attempted by persons who
indicate that they are under the age of 13 and any information they may have
provided in the process is automatically deleted. Our information collection is
designed not to encourage persons to provide a false age.

Customer Service. Occasionally we may send you emails containing
transactional or relationship messages (e.g. "forgot your password", student
performance issues, and administrative/security matters), or in response to
inquiries from you. You may not opt-out of these communications (they are not
promotional in nature) because they are essential for us to be able to properly
operate our educational programs. If you do not wish to receive these
communications you must terminate your account.

Supplementing Information. In order to customize and personalize your
visits, we may supplement the information you provide us with information from
third party sources, such as companies that enable us to determine your general
geographic location from your IP address.

Surveys and Contests. From time-to-time we may provide you or the
student the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our site.
However, no child under the age of 13 will be allowed to enter unless you
approve of such entry by entering your User ID and password. Participation in
these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a
choice whether or not to disclose the requested information. We may use a third
party service provider to conduct these surveys or contests; in such event,
that provider will be required to agree by contract not to use your personal
										information for any other purposes.

									Information Sharing and Disclosure
General. Except as disclosed in this Privacy Policy, we do not share
your personal information without your consent. Non-personal information (such
as demographic information and page views) is used to provide anonymous
reporting for ourselves and outside third parties; this information does not
										identify you or individual students.

Advertisers. We display both targeted ads and non-targeted ads.
Targeted ads are based upon the information you provide us when registering. We
do not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you view or
click on an ad. Based upon your registration information, advertisers
(including ad serving companies) may assume who is visiting the site and
provide an ad targeted to demographics that would include that person. When
viewing such ads, or interacting with such ads, you are consenting to the
possibility that the advertiser may have assumed that you meet the criteria
used to target the ad (e.g. women between the ages of 26-35).

Third Parties. We may contract with or hire third parties from time to time for a
variety of purposes, such as to perform maintenance and repair services or provide other services for us.
Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal
information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the
confidentiality of the information and are prohibited from using it for any
										other purpose.

Legal Purposes. MINDsprinting cooperates with law enforcement inquiries
and other third parties to enforce laws, intellectual property and other
rights. Thus, local, national, and international law enforcement agents can
request and may receive your personal information. We reserve the right (and
you authorize us) to disclose your personal information as required by law and
when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to
comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served upon
										us.

									Purging of your Information
When you terminate a student's enrollment (i) all information on that student
will be purged from our database upon such termination, and (ii) if it is the
last active student registered under your account, we will use reasonable
efforts to promptly purge your information from our enrollment databases. In
some circumstances however, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems
or enforce our Terms and Conditions, we may delay the purging of your and/or
the student's information until the reason for delaying such purge no longer
exists. Further, despite our efforts to purge such information from our
databases, due to technical constraints and the fact that we back up our
systems, we may not always be able to completely remove all such information
										promptly, if at all.

									Cookies and Web Beacons
There are many misconceptions about cookies and web beacons, some of which we
will try to clarify. Cookies and web beacons do not tell us an e-mail address
										or any other personal information.

Cookies. Like most websites, we use cookies. Cookies are data files
stored on your computer that identify you as a unique user. Cookies cannot be
used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. The information we
collect from these cookies does not link back to your personal information.
Cookies enable us to (a) track log in name and password, as well as multiple
enrollments; (b) cause you to automatically log off if no activity occurs for a
certain period of time after you log in; and (c) track user trends, preferences
and patterns to better understand our user base and to improve the quality of
our services. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or to be notified
before a cookie is accepted. You cannot use our site or our programs without
										permitting cookies.

Web Beacons. Clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs) are tiny graphics
with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track
the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on
a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages
and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Our pages may
contain Web Beacons that may be used to help deliver cookies on our site and to
allow us to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded
services. We may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or our
Newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted
upon, and we may also employ Web Beacons from third parties in order to help us
compile aggregated statistics and determine the effectiveness of promotional
campaigns. Finally, we may work with other companies that advertise on our site
to place Web beacons on their sites in order to allow us to develop statistics
on how often clicking on an advertisement on a our site results in a purchase
or other action on the advertiser's site.

Advertisers/Third Party Ad Networks. We allow other companies,
including third-party ad servers or ad networks (together Ad Networks), to
display advertisements on our pages. Some Ad Networks may place a persistent
cookie on your computer in order to recognize your computer each time they send
you an online advertisement. This usually happens when you click on an
advertisement. Cookies enable Ad Networks to compile information about where
you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and
determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an Ad Network to
deliver targeted advertisements they believe will be of most interest to you.
We do not have access to the cookies that may be placed by the Ad Networks. Ad
Networks use of cookies is subject to their individual privacy policies; this
Privacy Policy only covers the use of cookies by MINDsprinting.

									Links to Other Sites
Ads on our site link to other sites, and sometimes we provide links to other
sites. MINDsprinting does not control any sites but our site and cannot be held
responsible for what may be posted on other sites or how those sites may be
operated. Please review the privacy policies on sites other than ours before
										providing any personal information.

									Security
We limit access to your personal information to employees who we believe
reasonably need to access it in order to deliver services to you or to do their
jobs. We have physical, procedural, and electronic safeguards in place to
protect your personal information; we follow generally accepted industry
standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during
transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over
the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. So, while we
strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal
information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security; unfortunately, due to
ever changing technology and genius, and their use for improper purposes, we
cannot ensure that all of your personal information will never be disclosed in
ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. For example, third parties
may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or data storage. MINDsprinting
shall not be liable for any such unlawful intercepts or accesses.

									Encryption
The security of your personal information is important to us. When You enter Sensitive Information (such as your credit card number) during our registration process, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer (SSL) technology. Our external payment processor also uses SSL encryption to process and protect your credit card number and other Payment Details (see Information We Collect & How We Use It, General).

									Business Transitions
In the event MINDsprinting goes through a business transition, such as a merger,
acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your
personal information will likely be among the assets transferred.

Consent and Changes to this Privacy Policy
By using our site or services, you consent to the collection and use of your
information as we have outlined in this Privacy Policy and consent to our Terms
and Conditions. We may decide to change this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If and when we do, we will post the changes on this page and we will revise the
"last updated" date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy so that you are
always aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what
circumstances we disclose it. If there are material changes to our Privacy
Policy or in how we will use your personal information, we will notify you
either by prominently posting a notice of such changes prior to implementing
the change or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to
periodically review this statement to be informed of how we are protecting your
information. This Privacy Policy Applies Only to MINDsprinting. This Privacy
Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from
you; it does not apply to any third parties. To the extent that you disclose
your information to other parties or on other sites (e.g. by clicking on an ad
or a link on our site) different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of
the personal information you provide them. Please make sure to review the
privacy policy of any third party to which you disclose personal information.
